Our Experience

MARC-IV has tackled a variety of issues ranging from market assessments for commodity or branded products to business plans and production issues for plant facilities. MARC-IV also provides expertise to state and federal organizations who are writing and implementing regulatory policy for biodiesel use. Many organizations have relied on MARC-IV for strategic advice and services. From small projects, to multi-million dollar programs, MARC-IV can address your needs.

MARC-IV had led the effort to produce an industry-wide biodiesel specification through the American Society for Testing and Materials and serve as the liaison between industry and the Environmental Protection Agency to complete health effects testing protocols required by the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990.

MARC-IV has worked with land-grant universities, trade associations and municipalities to assess agricultural energy opportunities, such as anaerobic digestion or biodiesel, as well as to evaluate new vegetable oil or animal fat based products. MARC-IV has also performed technology and production feasibility studies for clients in public and private sectors.

MARC-IV routinely monitors and evaluates federal regulations and their impacts, and has prepared testimony and submitted comments on behalf of clients. In addition, we frequently get requests to implement and manage programs when it "just has to be done right."
